Jesus

He is the most important person you can know:

John 14:6-7  6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

There is no other way to salvation.  Without Jesus you are dead:

Ephesians 2:1-2  NIV Ephesians 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,  2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

In Him you may have life:

Galatians 2:20   20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We tend to live like Jesus is an “ap” that we add to our lives, or that church is a part of our life schedule but the truth is that everything we do and have comes first from him:

John 1:1-4  NIV John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 He was with God in the beginning.  3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

I hope you will embrace these truths and begin to experience a life of being blessed by God a life like no other.  Jesus is the most important person you will ever know.
