First Presbyterian Church of Thibodaux (and Houma) is Now Bayou Christian Church

the new Website is:  http://www.bayouchristianchurch.com

Although both of these historic churches were wonderful their Name “Presbyterian” caused us to spend the first 30 minutes talking about being Presbyterian.  In a Christian nation that was fine.  Today we need to spend that precious time talking about Jesus – so we’ve changed our name after 177 years.  That’s a big deal.  That’s how serious we are about Jesus.

First Presbyterian of Thibodaux (FPCT) is an incredible church and I am so glad to be a part of its ministry.   We’ve been serving the Lord now for 23 years and we have so much more to do.  A uniquely reformed congregation which is part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, FPCT has been in existence for over 177 years but is growing new every day.  We hope you will come and worship with us as we learn to:

Glorify Him.

Enjoy Him.

Forever.

Come worship with us live Sundays at 11am .  Bible studies at 9:30 am.

First Presbyterian of Houma was likewise a wonderful congregation.  I joined their ministry for 4 years and with God’s leading and help we have merged the congregation back into First Pres.  Thiboduax.  They served the Lord in Houma for over 150 years.  Worship is now solely in Thibodaux at 11am.

Look for exciting changes yet to come!
